Mutley Greenbank Trust is seeking to appoint a Senior Youth Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced youth worker to assist us in maintaining and developing our current youth work provision.

Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2024

18.5 hours per week (0.5FTE)

NJC Scale E 17 - currently £13.91 per hour

Mutley Greenbank Trust (MGT) is an award-winning youth and community organisation which has been working with young people and local communities since 2001. MGT is managed by a multi-skilled Team of Trustees who are active in supporting the delivery of quality youth and community work.

The areas of Plymouth covered by MGT are Mutley, Greenbank, Mount Gould, and St Jude's.

The current Youth provision includes detached youth work, one-to-one work, specific project work and group work.

The aim of MGT Youth Work is to:

· Improve the mental health and well-being of young people across all four areas.

· Provide positive activities/engagement to enhance young people's participation and self-esteem through methods of informal education.

· Empower young people to be active members of their communities and wider society.

· Enable and empower young people to realise their potential.
